meeowr

I've been eyeing on Charlotte Olympia's kitty flats for a while. I know I can't afford it but it's the holidays now so I'm a free camel. What I've decided is to make myself one at home. I do not consider myself a crafty chick, but for a new pair of shoes, I'd do anything.

So the other day I went hunting for a pair of cheap loafers with my friend. I wanted it to be cheap because just in case this project of mine turned out to be a failure, I wouldn't have much to lose. So at last I got one at Brands Outlet. It was RM45 per pair, RM70 for 2. I only wanted one, but my friend decided to buy another pair as well, so at the end the both of us paid only RM35 for our own shoes, yay!

The fabric is faux leather, I wanted it to have more furry textured to it, but this was all I could find.

Crazy cheap or what!

What I used: pencils(for the outline), scissors, needles and threads and lastly, an inspiration.

Took me 2 days to finish 'em. I'm quite satisfied honestly as I don't even like crafting, nor tailoring. I won't say it's GLAMOROUS OR FLAWLESS OR CLASSY but it's at least wearable alright. I AM going to wear this no shit.

I've watched some tutorials but most insisted to just draw it with a sharpie. I don't think it's going to rock so I decided to sew.
