i have to clarify

i hate it when I'm in the car and the radio plays this indie song i know. And i'm just like, what the fuck is going on. The radio station is mainstreamnizing the song and I'll just feel so betrayed. There are songs you just have to share it or else the world would be just like an unsolved puzzle, forever missing and longing for that one piece. And there are songs that you just have to keep it to yourself. As if there's this unwritten agreement between you two. Because that song, unique and rare as you think it is, just isn't for sharing. Because it just wouldn't stay as unique and rare anymore after everyone knows about it.
